Ukraine has requested to become a member of the European Union.
Despite being a member of the European Union, Ukraine, which is not yet a member of the European Union, has requested to join the European Union after Russia’s invasion.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has requested immediate membership of the union.
“We are in a crisis right now. Let’s not talk too much about it. Let the European Union make Ukraine its member as soon as possible,” he said.
“Ukraine is ready to fulfill its responsibility as a member of the union,” he wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
