The Ukrainian army also destroyed about 80 Russian tanks, 516 armed combat vehicles, 10 aircraft, and seven helicopters by 3 pm local time, Hanna Malyar said in a statement posted on Facebook.
Moscow did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Al Jazeera has stated that it is unable to verify this independently.
