Samsung has been accused of deliberately reducing the performance of Galaxy smartphones.
In various testimonials, users have mentioned that Galaxy smartphones consume a lot of charges when the benchmark application is open. Samsung has also been accused of cheating users. For several years now, Samsung has been accused of limiting smartphone capabilities. Various testimonials have claimed that the power of the chipset decreases when some apps are opened in this brand. Similarly, some mobile games also have the problem of slowing down the performance of the phone.
Samsung, on the other hand, has introduced a feature that allows the SOC of its smartphone to send all the power available while running the benchmarking app. Due to this, various internet users started renaming the app they used to be the benchmarking app to increase the capacity of the game. For example, some people in South Korea found that changing the name of an app called “Genshin” to “Geekbench” increased the game’s capabilities.
At the same time, other prominent YouTube videographers have expressed concern over the capabilities offered by other smartphones, including the Galaxy S22. Not long ago, Samsung introduced a feature that reduced the capacity of some apps that were about to open in its firmware. A South Korean user claims that the feature has affected more than 10,000 apps. According to the Internet user and South Korean blogger Naver, Samsung has begun an in-depth investigation into the matter.
The blog claims that the producers should officially discuss this issue shortly. This is not the first time that manufacturers have limited the capacity of smartphones. Earlier, the OnePlus had limited the capacity of the phone to save battery life.
