Today marks the eighth day that Russia has invaded Ukraine. The war cannot be stopped.
Meanwhile, foreign nationals and students living in Ukraine have been urged to move to neighboring European countries.
India has also asked its citizens to go to neighboring countries like Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. Due to the war in Ukraine, there have been no flights.
Meanwhile, Indian students sought refuge in Poland to save their lives. But Belarus says Polish troops have beaten more than 100 Indian nationals and returned them to Ukraine.
Belarus’s ambassador to the United Nations, Valentin Ryabakov, said Indian students had been beaten by Polish security forces.
According to him, on February 26, the Indian nationals had reached the border area of Poland by evading the war. But instead of taking refuge, they were beaten.
The students are currently being held at a refugee center in Romania.
