
Expressing happiness over being rescued from the war-torn area of Ukraine, Pakistani girl Asma Shafiq thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Embassy in Kyiv. She thanked the Indian embassy for rescuing her from a “very difficult situation” in a video.
“I also thank the Prime Minister of India. We hope to reach home safely, thanks to the Indian Embassy, ”she said in a video posted by ANI News Agency.
Asma Shafiq is now on her way to western Ukraine, from where she will eventually leave the war-torn country. He will be reunited with his family soon, “ANI quoted a source as saying.

Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Since then, more than two million people have fled Ukraine, and hundreds more have died. India, meanwhile, is helping to rescue its citizens and citizens of other countries from Ukraine.
