Cryptocurrency support has been flowing to Ukrainian groups around the world since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine.
According to the research institute Elliptic, Ukraine has received 9.9 million (Rs 1.183 billion at today’s exchange rate) in the form of cryptocurrency assistance between the two countries since the war began on February 24.
The Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) has been established to assist Ukraine’s civilians and military, through which assistance is reaching Ukraine from around the world.
Some allies are also sending aid money to Ukraine by selling their NFT. Prior to this, when there was a problem, it was common practice to deposit the amount in the bank account of the concerned body.
This time around, Ukraine has also recognized Bitcoin as an aid. Last year alone, Ukraine legalized cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. Ukraine is also known as the most technologically advanced country in the world.
